It began as summer training for cross country skiers but now Nordic Walking is believed to be the fastest growing health activity in Europe. It's a form of walking using very light weight poles which encourages you to use 90% of all muscles. As you push off from your poles the upper body gets a thorough workout, helping to strengthen the back and abdominal muscles. The benefits of Nordic walking are well documented and backed up by scientific evidence.

You might be new to Nordic Walking or have experience, but studies show that the benefits only come from 'good technique'. We use our poles as a 'mobile gym' and take you through specific warm up and cool down exercises.
