Our detox programme is so easy and enjoyable, you'll barely notice you're doing it. We start with a three day juice fest to cleanse and refresh, before re-introducing healthy, balanced foods that your body will love. Our juices and meals are made with nothing but fresh ingredients that will fill you up and nourish you as well as flush toxins and cleanse you from the inside out.
Along with healthy eating we will offer a daily programme of Nordic Walking, Yoga, Core Stability classes and flexibility sessions.
Nordic Walking is normal walking made more effective by the use of specifically designed Nordic Walking poles. The technique is easily acquired, the equipment needed is minimal and once hooked it can be taken anywhere! Our guides will teach you the technique and help you improve your fitness all in the luxury of fresh mountain air. Walking 'the Nordic way' can burn up to 40% more calories than normal walking, strengthen your upper body and has little stress on the joints.
Our base for our weeks is Chamonix. This historic, picturesque and buzzy Alpine town is surrounded by dramatic peaks including Western Europe's highest mountain - Mont Blanc. A visit to Chamonix in the spring or autumn is arguably at it's best due to having the trails to ourselves combined with fine weather. It's impossible not to be both invigorated and soothed by the mountain panoramas around you. Enjoy a blissful mix of relaxation, fresh air, and exercise in the heart of the French Alps.
Day 1 Arrival in Chamonix
Settle in and enjoy a relaxing afternoon & evening at the chalet. You'll feel well from the moment you arrive! You'll meet your hosts and run through the week's plans. We'll explain how everything works, what to expect from our delicious detox programme and answer any questions. You'll enjoy an evening yoga session before a light, cleansing supper. Your juice detox begins in the morning!
The Detox Bit
Days 2-4 Juice Detox & Rejuvenate from within
Juices are prepared daily. You'll enjoy up to 5 nourishing - and surprisingly filling - juices and smoothies, as well as unlimited infusions. Our juices are made using nothing but fresh ingredients - and don't worry, it's not a starvation diet! The ingredients include avocado, banana and pineapple - to give you plenty of nutrients and enough calories so you'll feel full, not ravenous!
Days 5-7 Food Re-education
By this stage, you'll already be feeling the effects of the last few days - slimmer, healthier, and full of energy. Your skin will be glowing and your eyes sparkling! As we begin to eat normal meals again, the focus is on continuing to stay super healthy with 3 days of light, clean, tasty meals. The food is designed to balance your system, encourage cleansing and weight loss, as well as help you re-discover your love of healthy eating. If your goal is to lose weight, we can tailor the eating for you. If you're more interested in just eating healthily, there's no limit to quantities and we can focus on cleansing rather than calorie control.
Activities
Classes: Either every morning or evening there will be a class given at your chalet in either Yoga, Core strength or stretching. The physiological and psychological benefits of these activities are truly endless. Use these sessions to allow your body time to rebalance it's mind, body and spirit. Soon the body will feel more flexible, stronger & healthier in everywhere. The therapeutic effects of yoga have been enjoyed since ancient times and if practised regularly can make you feel fitter give you more energetic and lead to a peaceful way of life.
Nordic walking: Our Nordic walking programme consists of 6 half day walks on the Chamonix trails amongst awe inspiring mountains. The pace will be relaxed - but we think you'll be surprised how much energy you have. With your guide explore some of the most stunning scenery in Europe. Enjoy spectacular views, breathe fresh air, and learn a new skill that can be taken anywhere. The exact routes and itinerary will be decided on a day by day basis, depending on the group, but rest assured you will explore the best of Chamonix's mountain trails!
Focus Groups: Our guides, nutritionist and chef are passionate about what they do and are here to share their knowledge. Every evening we'll run a focus group at the chalet - to answer any questions, demonstrate cooking ideas and inspire you to make healthy choices in your 'normal' life back home. The atmosphere is relaxed, with plenty of questions and discussion - on topics such as: exercise and fitness, healthy eating for life, juicing demonstrations, and more.
Your Hosts
Steph owns Be Pure Fit and is a yoga teacher, sports therapist and personal trainer - with a diploma in nutrition. Steph is seriously fit and healthy and is fascinated by the human body and the relationships between exercise, food and health. Whether it's raw juices or healthy salads, Steph loves the amazing energy you can only get from eating, sleeping and exercising well.
Polly is our nutritionist and chef, whose speciality subject is making healthy eating delicious and interesting - as well as perfectly balanced. If you ever thought brown rice was boring, think again! Whether she's squeezing delicious juices or prepping superfood salads, Polly is dedicated to making sure what you eat makes you well.
Julia guides our Nordic Walks and will ensure your views are well earned! Julia has spent most of her working life in the fitness & outdoor industries, and now works full time as an International Mountain Leader and cross country ski teacher. She's happy to admit that everyday her office window has a new view and loves to share this with her clients.
Accommodation
We stay in stunning 4* luxury within easy reach of the centre of Chamonix. Our chalet is recently renovated with 4 en suite twin rooms, spacious living and dining area, plus TV lounge, free wifi, and gorgeous garden - where you can enjoy the incredible views of Mont Blanc while relaxing in the outdoor hot tub, enjoying yoga on the terrace, steaming in the sauna or sitting in the sun with a freshly squeezed juice!

What's Included:
- Full board in 4* accommodation based on twin rooms. 3 days pure fruit & vegetable juice detox programme plus 4 days pure & healthy eating.
- All meals are provided by our nutritionist/chef and are balanced and calorie controlled for health, wellbeing and sustainable weight loss. If you are interested more in the cleansing aspect than weight loss, there are no limits to portion sizes!
- All activities/guides fees are included - 6 mornings or afternoons Nordic walking.
- Daily class in either yoga, core conditioning or stretching.
- Afternoon & evening focus groups including talks and demonstrations on juicing, healthy eating, exercise and fitness, staying motivated and 'finding the balance'.
- Individual 1:1 consultation, body composition and fitness assessment. This includes a report of your 'body stats' at the start and end of the week.
- 1x Therapeutic massage per person
- Rental of Nordic Walking poles
Not included: Transport to and from Chamonix, Insurance, additional activities and massage treatments. Any additional transport within the Valley.
Minimum numbers
This week will run once a minimum number of 4 clients have booked, we will take a maximum of 8.
Insurance
Please note that you must have the appropriate insurance for your chosen activity. As we will running in the mountains you must be covered for helicopter rescue, repatriation and medical costs. With regard to this please be sure you have read the Insurance section in our Terms and Conditions.
Further Information
Upon booking a full kit list will be provided. We will certainly cover all aspects of the itinerary but due to changing mountain weather conditions we ask you stay flexible so that we can get the most out of each day.
Travel
Chamonix is easily reached from other European & Worldwide destinations by road, rail, coach or plane. For suggested travel links please refer to our Booking & Information pages for further details. Geneva is the closest international airport, only 1 hour 15 minutes away by road, making shared transfers, buses or trains easy to arrange. Please contact us if you need further advise on your specific travel requirements.
