Introducing Nordic Skiing
The art of Nordic Skiing, also known as Cross Country Skiing, is a fun way to explore the mountains and different countries and cultures in winter, and best of all it is suitable for all ages and skiing abilities. We can even accommodate small babies and children as they can be pulled in a traditional Pulka!
Cross Country Skiing has various styles including track skiing in prepared snow or touring in the mountains. Be it your first time on skis or perhaps you are looking for a new type of ski challenge - there's something for everyone. The ski boots are comfortable, like walking boots, and the skis are very lightweight and easy to carry.
Explore 'Nordic' rolling terrain along valleys, across plateaus, with stunning peak and glaciers around you. Ski from village to village and sample local cuisine whilst meeting like-minded people that's not to metion getting fit into the bargain!
Explorer trips
Our holidays explore different areas of the alps and Norway and are all graded to suit differing abilities and fitness levels. If you are completely new to cross country skiing why not look at joining an Italian Ski Weekend or perhaps combine it with some snowshoeing on our Chamonix based multi activity winter week?
For the more advanced we have a point to point tour crossing the French / Swiss Jura or the Italian Dolomites Explorer.
Norwegian Trips
