Snowshoe touring A to B is a different experience: no driving to the start each day, no worrying about which gear to put in your pack each morning and no worrying about which route we should do today. Instead you are on a journey and have to decide if you buy cheese for lunch from this farm or that one, if you will have a vin chaud or a shower first when you get into the hotel and if Lindsay can break trail all of the way to the col on her own or if you will have to help her out. The joy of successfully completing a week long journey in the snow has to be experienced to be appreciated.

Go on - do the trip. You will remember it for ever.

Hey, Fred

Next year you need to 'break' more trail!! You are right - a trip across the mountains from village to village is a highly satisfying experience. Thank you for being one of the elite 'first' to do the trip with Tracks and Trails. So far we have not heard of any other British company doing the trip and it was fantastic to share the experience with you. We are going to offer it as a Scheduled Departure for 2011.
