Hi Linz,

Thank you, thank you, thank you again for a wonderful scouting snowshoe week in the Pyrenees!
Despite the lack of recently-fallen snow, you used your skills absolutely brilliantly in order to help us to reach the snow, and in fact it was even better as we were able to go much higher and further on our snowshoes than would otherwise have been possible had the snow been right down to the parking spots.

You led brilliantly both on the trail and off it, and yet you consulted with everyone in the team really well so that our daily itineraries became group agreements, so we felt led yet empowered as team-mates.
The effort and care that you display to ensure that your guests' expectations are not only met yet are exceeded is very clear, and is very much appreciated.
Your guiding skills and customer-focus allow you to be flexible and specific and yet the whole time you have the right balance of fun and professionalism. You are also a pure joy to be with!
I always enjoy your trips, and yet I always come away having really learned something (very handy for an aspirant IML like myself!!!).
This was definitely a trip for those with a sense of adventure with regard to its scouting nature; never a dull moment, and yet never a scary moment either. You are a very safe pair of hands.
A highlight was definitely the bush-whacking (I never thought I'd actually have a random pine-needle lodge itself between my two front teeth directly off a tree branch!!!) Hilarious!
We found some great routes that I am sure your future clients will love - you should definitely 'install' this as a regular trip (now it has been scouted!) for future seasons.

The snowshoeing itself was magic (and it was my first time on shoes); we were fortunate to have blue skies and sunshine too. You are right - anyone with hill fitness can strap on a pair of snowshoes and get cracking very easily!

The food and hospitality at the lodge was too good to put into words and really helped to power up all those 1000-meter days (wow!).
I am still dreaming of the baked cheesecake (oh, and the chocolate mousse... and the tarte aux pommes with lemon... and... and... and!)
It was lovely and quiet and really promoted a good night's sleep too.

All I can say is that I am looking forward to the Chablais trip, and looking forward to becoming a guide in the future; I would be hard-pushed to find a better person from whom to learn
