Having done the Tour of Mont Blanc with Lindsay a few years ago I wanted to experience Chamonix & the Alps in the winter but I was a bit unsure about the idea of snowshoeing for a whole week. However I got hooked from the very beginning and had a fantastic week with great walking, food & company. Lindsay was a brilliant leader (perfect mix of fun, enthusiasm, encouragement & caution when necessary) and the overnight trip to the St Bernard Monastery was a real highlight as were the hilarious 'bumslides' down the mountain! I'll definitely be back.
