What kind of boots do I need for snoeshoeing?

Hi, Patricia
For snowshoeing you basically need warm and waterproof boots with ankle support. I normally wear sturdy leather summer walking boots which are more than sufficient to keep my feet warm and dry. You do not need 'stiff' winter boots as the base of the snowshoe provides additional support.
